of implementing their recently purchased Aegis Manufacturing Operations Software which is designed to improve
efficiencies and quality by streamlining and controlling process planning and launch, process tracking and control,
and quality and test management. It will increase flexibility and traceability.
Analytic Systems saw some very specific benefits in purchasing Aegis software. “The Aegis implementation will
complement our lean enterprise, giving us comprehensive tracking of materials with validation control in all our work

Alpha Technologies Inc., for their high performance customized DC/DC Converters (model VTC615R23-
48-12AT) that works with Alpha’s Cordex® 4824Vdc DC/DC step down converters. This fully isolated
unit has a custom rackmount chassis and is equipped with paralleling diodes.
The FER Project aims to upgrade the electronics hardware and supporting infrastructure on CP’s private
trackside fiber communications network in order to provide the foundation for Positive Trackside Control
(PTC) and future Digital Railway initiatives. Within each site installation, a pair of these 23” rack
mountable, fully isolated 48Vdc to 12Vdc converters are paralleled to provide dual redundancy protection
within Alpha’s power subsystem.

(07/25/2012) Analytic Systems Has Record Sales in Q2, 2012
July 25, 2012, Delta, BC, Canada, Analytic Systems, a Canadian manufacturer of high performance power conversion products has posted a record sales volume for the Second Quarter 2012. Usually production is over 50% rugged DC/DC converters in the 100 to 1500 Watt power range. This quarter there was a large increase in battery charger and inverter sales due to a substantial reduction in their 2012 pricing to dealers and distributors mainly in the commercial marine and industrial markets. The price decrease happened due to the efficiencies brought on by the Lean Manufacturing processes and new automated equipment.

(03/17/2012) Analytic Systems Continues To Provide Inverters for US Army / CPP Program
March 17, 2012, Delta, BC, Canada, Northrop Grumman (Mission Systems) (NGC) has
selected Analytic Systems through their Defence products distributor, to supply four specialized
COTS military DC/AC inverters, the IPS300MS-24-110NG, IPS1000MS-20-110NG, IPS1K5MS-
20-110NG and the new IPS2K0MS-20-110NG. The IPS1000 inverter was MIL-Std certified (as
the initial unit) through a third party Mil Spec testing agency and meets all the required elements
of MIL-STD810 and MIL-STD 461E. The inverters will be used by the US Army as part of the
Command Post Platform (CPP) program. Over the past 6 years larger versions of the original
inverter with the same footprint, the IPS1K5MS and the IPS2K0MS, have been designed. Just
one example of how we look to continuously mature our systems’ capabilities to anticipate
customer needs. Orders for an additional 270+ units will be shipping this year. There has been
a less than 0.1% return rate through the beginning of this program.

(08/02/2011) Analytic Systems Awarded US Army Subcontract
Analytic Systems is proud to announce that it has again been awarded the subcontract to manufacture the power supply for the US Army's Modern Burner Unit (MBU) program through the Energy Solutions Division of Teleflex Canada. After an exhaustive evaluation of power supply manufacturers on both sides of the border, Teleflex selected Analytic Systems to manufacture the power supplies for the program. Two years of development and testing culminated in Analytic Systems initially being certified as the manufacturer and supplier of the MBU power supply in late 2002. Since then over 10,000 units are now in theatre and have enjoyed a less than 0.01% return rate.

This unit is specifically modified to meet the Army’s in-theatre requirements, to operate their portable radar system. Analytic Systems has been working with the Army since mid-2004 on the design, upgrades, modifications and production of this Military Power Supply. (10/26/2009) Analytic Systems Wins MBU Power Supply Contract for US Army
Analytic Systems is proud to announce that it has again been awarded the subcontract to manufacture the power supply for the US Army's Modern Burner Unit (MBU) program through the Energy Solutions Division of Teleflex Canada. After an exhaustive evaluation of power supply manufacturers on both sides of the border, Teleflex selected Analytic Systems to continue the manufacture of the program. Two years of development and testing culminated in Analytic Systems initially being certified as the manufacturer and supplier of the MBU power supply in late 2002. Since then over 7000 units are now in theatre and have enjoyed a less than 0.01% return rate.

Through Analytic Systems’ GSA contract, contract# GS-07F-5624R, the US Army has awarded Analytic Systems a continuing order for 2009/10. The contract is for a COTS military battery charger, NATO Stock Number: NSN 6130-20-002-2433, as part of their 5 year program. This charger is specifically designed to recharge a Saft America Lithium-Ion battery that is an integral part of a HMMWV mounted weapons system. The charger is also vehicle mounted and will operate from any source of AC. The charger is designed to be used in extreme environments and is the first in a series water-tight power conversion products using a unique new chassis design. A DC-DC version is also available.

After 16 years in a Surrey industrial strata complex, growing from one strata unit to 7 spread throughout the complex, it was time to move to a larger and more efficient manufacturing plant. The new plant is in a large industrial park in Delta, BC (8128 River Way). At about 33,000 square feet it more than doubles the space in our current Surrey, BC location about 10 minutes away.

(02/19/2009) Analytic Systems Provides Telephonics with High Performance Power Supplies for Moroccan ARSS Defence Radar
Analytic Systems, a Canadian manufacturer of high performance power conversion products for military and commercial/industrial applications has won a contract from the Ministry of Defense in Morocco, through Telephonics, a subsidiary of Griffon Corporation. The power supplies are designed for harsh desert conditions which is a specialty of Analytic Systems. The 24vdc output power supplies are provided in three configurations: a standard AC/ DC auto-ranging 105-250VAC input; a dual voltage input (24vdc and auto-ranging 105-250VAC); and a 24 VDC input DC/DC converter with dual voltage output (24 and 15.6VDCV). This allows the units to be used in-theatre as a mobile application as well as command-based applications.

(02/13/2009) Analytic Systems provides Power Supply for US Army Radar System
Analytic Systems has just received the next order (of a continuing 4 year contract) for the US Army’s 2009 requirement. Over 140 units of their ruggedized Military Power Supply, their first major order on this program in 2009. This unit is specifically modified to meet the Army’s in-theatre requirements, to operate their portable radar system. Analytic Systems has been working with the Army since mid-2004 on the design, upgrades, modifications and production of this Military Power Supply. Following this 1500W unit, Analytic Systems has recently supplied a smaller version of this field-tested Military Power Supply for a mobile lightweight radar system.

(08/07/2008) Analytic Systems wins new Aluminum Chambered Boats contract
Analytic Systems is pleased to announce that Aluminum Chambered Boats, Inc. of Bellingham, Washington, has awarded them new orders for their COTS militarized voltage converter, VTC1015MS-24-12. This 24 VDC to 12 VDC voltage converter is specifically modified to meet the rugged conditions in which the 34’ workboat will find itself in US Marine Corps overseas operations. The VTC1015MS-24-12 provides 60 Amps, to power navigational equipment. ACB anticipates building a minimum, four boats per month with one week duration between boats, there are 42 boats to be built on this remaining contract. The ACB boat is an 8.2m MKIII BEB (bridge erection boat) that is billed as “virtually unsinkable”.

The US Marine Corps has purchased the Lockheed Martin, Combat Convoy Simulator program, an immersive training program that teaches crews how to handle hazardous situations while driving in urban war zones. Analytic Systems has confirmed that their DC/DC Battery Chargers are used in the CCS program. The model BCD305-12-24, is a rugged charger that provides up to 13 Amps of clean, steady power. It was originally designed for the commercial marine market but fits easily into the military marketplace due to its rugged construction and low EMI.

Analytic Systems is supplying Noralta Controls through a local reseller, with 300 units of its model IQS300C1w-12-110 300 Watt AC/DC inverter that includes a wide temperature (-40C).
The IQS300C1w-12-110 inverters are being used to electronically ignite and power a new tank burner system, developed by A-Fire and Noralta, to improve tank burner safety, reduce emissions, and to comply with regulations at an affordable price.

(12/13/2006) Analytic Systems Provides Power Solution to LMCO Portable VHF/UHF Transceiver System
Lockheed Martin were trying to develop a prototype portable VHF/UHF Transceiver system for Government use. There biggest problem was power. They needed a wide input range power supply and voltage converter for use in difficult conditions. Maximum operating temperature would be +55°C but there could be no forced cooling. The unit(s) also needed to be rugged and enclosed. Mil Spec connectors would be needed, and they needed to be able to power their portable VHF/UHF Transceiver system from whatever is available, AC or DC, military or commercial.
Analytic Systems was asked to provide two complimentary systems to solve the problem.

Analytic Systems, a Canadian manufacturer of high performance power conversion products for military and commercial/industrial applications, has won a contract from the Ministry of Defense in Morocco, through one of its US agents. One hundred units of a specialized high output voltage converter, model number VTC120ih-12-15, are to be used for a military communications application. The unit is modified for and has been trialed in the Moroccan desert at very high temperatures. This is similar to a unit Motorola spec’d for 600+ cellular tower sites in Malaysia.
