The BCD1015M is a DC source battery charger specifically engineered for the most challenging land and sea environments where durability and reliability are essential. The fully isolated design ensures safe and trouble-free operation with a proven current-mode switching design.
The BCD1015M provides precise charging to one or two battery banks. The batteries must share a common ground. Without a battery, this unit can also function as a power supply up to its continuous current rating.
This unit features user-selectable two-stage and three-stage charging profiles, low ripple charging current, temperature compensation and a user-initiated equalization function to allow for gentle and controlled charging of expensive battery banks to maximize their lifespan. Additional filtering on the input and output reduces EMI noise to extremely low levels, preventing interference with sensitive communication equipment.
Bright LED indicators and a built-in digital Volt/Amp meter display provide critical information about the unit for straightforward diagnostics and monitoring. An on/off button disables the display when needed.
