The PWS1550 Series Power Supply provides up to 1500 watts continuous and 1800 watts intermittent to power one or more DC loads from a 110 or
220 VAC source. Two positive and two negative output connections are provided for easy connection to multiple devices.
Internally, the recently updated design incorporates a Power Factor Corrected (PFC) input stage allowing the charger to run continuously from 85 – 264 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz with a Power Factor of 0.99 or better from 10% to 100% load. Heavy input and output filtering reduces EMI to extremely low levels to prevent radio interference.
Safety features include over-temperature shutdown, current limiting, short circuit protection with automatic recovery, input under voltage shutdown and output over-voltage protection. Additional features include visual indicators for low input voltage, overload and over-temperature, dry contact output fail output and remote control connection.
This new power supply is identical to the predecessor PWS1505 Series in form, fit, and function and is a direct drop in replacement.
