This model is designed to take a range of low voltage DC (even as low as 5V) and step it up to 13.6 out at up to 10 amps continuous output current.
It allows 12VDC rated equipment to be operated from a 5-8 VDC source, and prevents low voltage dropouts even during equipment starting.
This model is fully isolated. This means that the input negative (ground) connection and the output negative (ground) connection are physically separate.
